Goltens Worldwide has opened a new service facility in Batam, Indonesia, enhancing its Southeast Asia presence. The workshop offers advanced tooling, expert engineers, and faster turnaround times for ship repair, retrofits, and decarbonization solutions.

Goltens has partnered with Orcan Energy to support the global deployment of modular Marine Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) systems that convert ship engine waste heat into clean electrical power. As Orcan’s preferred engineering and installation partner, Goltens will provide turnkey retrofit support through its global service network. The collaboration helps shipowners meet EEXI, CII, and FuelEU Maritime regulations by improving fuel efficiency and reducing emissions with class-approved, fuel-agnostic technology adaptable to both newbuilds and retrofits.
